A new feature to share Instagram stories directly on WhatsApp is being tested in early January 2018, TechCrunch tells us. Users will be able to use their Instagram story as a WhatsApp status. A small number of users can already benefit from the feature, which should be expanded in the coming weeks and months to become the norm. The stories have already landed on Facebook and Instagram ties were strengthened in the United States in October 2017.
